Jane Doe was killed in a head-on crash, along with her friend, due to the negligence of a drunk driver. The parties hired Robert Q. Whitwell to represent them. During the investigative stages, it was discovered by Whitwell that the drunk driver had been drinking at a local bowling alley. After interviewing numerous members of the bowling league, Whitwell uncovered that the lounge bartender had sold drinks to the driver after knowing he was intoxicated.
